2 Women Critically Injured After Being Struck By Pick Up Truck
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two women are seriously hurt after they were hit by a pickup truck in Center City over the weekend.
A Dodge Ram hit the pair, who were in the crosswalk at 11th and Market, at around 2:30 Sunday morning, according to police.
The victims are women in their 20s. Police say they were rushed to Hahnemann Hospital where they needed surgery and are listed in critical condition.
Police say the driver, a 45-year-old man, did not leave the scene, he stayed there.
Investigators say he was taken away, tested for DUI.
The exact results are not clear at the moment.
