Please Touch Museum Celebrates Cool New Exhibit

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Children at the Please Touch Museum have a new exhibit in which to play, and it involves a replica of everyone's favorite treat.

The Museum has partnered with Bassett's Ice Cream to create the exhibit, which was introduced Friday.

"What they've done is replicated our ice cream counter in Reading Terminal Market," explains Bassett's Ice Cream president Michael Strange, "to be a miniature version of that and they've also created miniature ice cream scoops and cones that the kids can put together."

Of course the kids love real and play ice cream.

This mom says she was excited because of her familiarity with the Philadelphia brand:

"I was very excited, I mean, I haven't been here (at the Please Touch Museum) in a little while and seeing that they were coming I wanted to be here."

After all, what's the unveiling of a new ice cream play exhibit without real scoops?
