Donald Trump Addresses Protests Of His Presidency: 'Professional Protesters, Incited By Media'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- For a second night, protests are taking place across America in regards to the country electing Donald Trump to be the next president. Protesters took the streets on Wednesday night, and again on Thursday night.

Donald Trump, took to Twitter on Thursday night to address the protests of his election.

Trump referred to the crowds as "professional protesters," and stated that they were being incited by the media.

That same evening, Trump tweeted about the day's earlier visit to the White House where Trump met with President Barack Obama to discuss the transition of power.

Trump called the day a "fantastic one and said that he and the president had "great chemistry."

In addition to Philadelphia, protests of Trump's presidency have taken place in cities across the country, including Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Minneapolis and Washington D.C.
