Doug Pederson: As Of Now, Josh Huff Will Play On Sunday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Eagles receiver Josh Huff will play on Sunday, head coach Doug Pederson announced on Wednesday.

"As of right now, yes," Pederson said when asked if Huff will play on Sunday, vs. the New York Giants.

Huff, 25, was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly speeding on the Walt Whitman bridge, reportedly while carrying a 9 millimeter handgun and less than 50 grams of marijuana in his car.

Pederson said he was disappointed by Huff's actions and they spoke privately about the incident.

"It's like you're the father of your house and you just gotta keep talking to your kids and keep reiterating," Pederson said.

"There could be fines, there could be suspensions, there could be anything of that nature, but until we gather all of the information we just don't know," Pederson continued. "I want to see exactly what happened and maybe talk to some people and find out. It's outside of the building. A lot of times these situations are out of our control. I want to get everything tightened up."

Huff, 25, was the Eagles' third-round pick in 2014 out of Oregon. He has 13 catches for 72 yards and one touchdown this season, his third. He also has a 98-yard kick return touchdown.
