DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) – PECO has rewarded one of its customers with more than a half million dollars in incentives for making energy efficiency improvements.

“This is a unit that will produce electricity as well as hot water and steam that can be used for heating and other purposes at the hospital,” says PECO spokesperson Ben Armstrong.READ MORE: Supreme Court Overturns Roe v. Wade, Allowing States To Ban Abortion
Officials say the system provides the hospital with about 1/3 of power that would have otherwise come from PECO. Armstrong says money saving incentives are not just for large institutions, but have energy efficiency programs for everyone:
