The first quarter between the Eagles and Vikings was riddled with turnovers by both teams. The mistakes paused for a couple of drives to start the second quarter, but there was still no scoring as both sides were forced to punt. The first scoring drive of the game came from the Vikings who drove 50 yards to before stalling out and kicking a field goal to take a 3-0 lead.

On the ensuing kick-off, the Eagles special teams made a huge impact. Kick returner Josh Huff caught the Blair Walsh kick at the two yard line and took off. Huff made a couple of coverage team guys miss before showing off his speed, taking it all the way back to the end zone for the game’s first touchdown.

That’s the second kick return touchdown for the Eagles in the last two games. Last week, rookie running back Wendell Smallwood had the first kick return touchdown in the NFL this season against the Redskins. The Eagles went for two after the touchdown and Wentz was able to convert on the quarterback keeper for an 8-3 lead.
