If you’re a jazz buff, you’ll want to be in Cape May on the weekend of November 11th to 13th for a townwide jam session that draws thousands of east coast fans for the Exit Zero Jazz Festival. But why Cape May?
“They love the intimacy of the festival. A lot of the shows are in small clubs. The audience is right on top of the artists. You can walk around from bar to bar to bar.”
Michael Kline is the producer who uses both large and intimate rooms to match artists to audiences and sound. And he doesn’t mind doing some namedropping.
