Report: Cowboys To Start Dak Prescott Vs. Carson Wentz And Eagles
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Fans are apparently going to get their dream matchup: Dak Prescott vs. Carson Wentz, Eagles at Cowboys, Sunday Night Football.
According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Cowboys will start Prescott after their bye in Week 8 against the Eagles.
Prescott, the Cowboys' fourth-round pick out of Mississippi State, has thrown for 1,486 yards, seven touchdowns, and just one interception leading his team to a 5-1 record with Tony Romo out with a back injury.

Rapoport reports that Romo may "not be ready" by Week 9 vs. the Browns.
Wentz, the Eagles' No. 2 overall pick out of North Dakota State, has thrown for 1,186 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception in one less game played than Prescott.
The two rookie quarterbacks will likely square off on Sunday Night Football on October 30th in Dallas.
