Watch: Redskins Say 'We Run The East' After Beating Eagles

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Well, I guess they do run the east.

The defending NFC East champion Washington Redskins beat the Eagles 27-20 on Sunday to improve to 4-2. They have now beaten the Birds four consecutive times, including last December 26th to clinch the 2015 division title.

After Sunday's win, defensive end Ricky Jean Francois and defensive end Chris Baker -- who has some bad blood with Philly thanks to his 2014 hit on ex-Eagles QB Nick Foles -- proclaimed their team "runs the east."

"We run the damn East, man," Jean Francois said. "Philly not all that -- we run the east. They better remember we got that damn title."

"Ya'll forgot who the real champs of the NFC East is," Baker followed with. "Everybody picking them trash a** Eagles."

While the Redskins have won four straight games, they are still one game behind the 5-1 Dallas Cowboys for the division lead. As a whole, the NFC East is the NFL's most winningest division at 15-8 collectively. It's the only NFL division without a losing team.
