Police: Moonwalking Man Found To Be In Possession Of Heroin, Hypodermic Needles

TOMS RIVER, NJ (CBS) – Authorities busted a man for being in possession of heroin after he was reportedly moonwalking his way through the aisles of a gas station.

Police say around 11:30 p.m. on October 12, police responded to the Speedway gas station on the 1800 block of Hooper Avenue.

An employee called police to report a man lingering and acting erratically inside of the store.

Police say Mark Wixler, 39, was moonwalking his way through the aisles while choosing his merchandise.

While speaking to Wixler, police say an active warrant out of Neptune Township for $2,000 was discovered.

Authorities say he was also found to be in possession of six hypodermic needles and a small amount of heroin.

Police say he was placed under arrest and housed in the Ocean County Jail pending a court date.
