Chief Inspector Scott Small says he had no identification, and police think drugs might have been the motive for the shooting.

“We found a wad of money. We’re not sure how much it is because we’re not touching it — it’s part of the crime scene — but we also found several small containers of a green weed-like substance that appears to be marijuana.”

A handgun was also found a few feet from the body.

Small says some surveillance cameras in the neighborhood might have caught the shooting on tape that could help detectives with the investigation.
