DA: Police Officer, Veteran Charged With Indecent Exposure

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (CBS) – Officials say a Bethlehem police officer has been charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct after he was allegedly caught masturbating in his car on two separate occasions.

The District Attorney says Glenn Curtis Woolard, 35, is married and lives in Lower Macungie Township.

In the first incident on September 27,  a female allegedly saw Woolard masturbating in his car in the parking lot of a Target on Krocks Road.

Authorities say the second incident occurred on October 5.  Another female observed him engaging in the same behavior while she was driving on Hamilton Boulevard between Cedar Crest Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue.

Officials say Woolard has been placed on suspension by the Bethlehem chief of police and he will be facing further disciplinary action.

Authorities say he's been employed as a police officer since February, 2013.

Prior to becoming a police officer, officials say Woolard served honorably with the US Army in the 75th Ranger Battalion and did multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Woolard will be arraigned later today at which time bail will be set.
