PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A man was struck by a car and killed while crossing Kelly Drive Thursday morning.

Philadelphia Police say the unidentified man believed to be in his late 60s or early 70s was struck by a 2016 Subaru driven by a 75-year-old woman near Brewery Hill Drive around 9:45 a.m.

The male was taken to Hahnemann Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The accident temporarily shut down Kelly Drive in both directions between Green and Lemon Hill Drives.

No arrests have been made.

The incident is under investigation.
