Delco Wawa Wants To Start Selling Beer Soon

CONCORDVILLE, Pa. (CBS) - A Wawa convenience store in Delaware County hopes to begin selling beer by early next year, now that the state Liquor Control Board has given the green-light.

The Wawa in Concordville will have to add seating for 30 people, along with a separate entrance and separate cash register in order to sell under the license.

The company says it expects those changes to the store to be done by January.

They say, for now, they have no plans to expand beer sales beyond the one store, but they "monitor its success and assess its potential."
