Barring a hurricane, the coming weeks should provide great fishing conditions offshore, on the bays and lakes. Relaxing with a rod in a beach chair at Cape May Point, the blues are practically jumping in your lap.
“It was a great day,” said one fisherman. “I ran out of bait.”

If you’re looking for those tasty stripers, head for the Chesapeake Bay and Fish Fear Us charters at Rock Hall, Maryland. Or just pull up a beach chair and cast the Cape.
