PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — It was all hands on deck for Mrs. Grimm’s 4th grade class at the A.J. Jenks School in South Philly.

The kids were dusting, pulling and scraping to stamp street art on a storm drain to help spread a message about keeping Philly water clean. The message: “Only rain should go down the drain.”

The partnership with the Delaware Estuary, Philadelphia Water and local kids has been in affect for 17 years. Anyone attending kindergarten through 12th grade in the city of Philadelphia is eligible to enter their art work, supporting clean storm drains.

They’ll have a chance to have their art displayed for all to see.

These kids have dove right into the learning pool.
