SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Allen Iverson arrived about 90 minutes late for the pre-induction news conference at the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame on Thursday, a day before he was scheduled to become a member of the basketball shrine.

We’re not talking about the induction ceremony.

We’re talking about an availability that’s a sort of, you know, practice for the actual event.

The Hall said Iverson had travel problems. He said the delay involved a “personal situation; family”

Among the others to be inducted at Symphony Hall on Friday night are Shaquille O’Neal, Yao Ming and Michigan State coach Tom Izzo.
