Josh Norman: 'I Can't Wait To Play Sam Bradford Twice A Year'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two days after the Carolina Panthers surprisingly rescinded their franchise tag on one of the NFL's top corners Josh Norman, Eagles fans got some unlucky news.

Norman was coming to the NFC East.

The 2015 Pro Bowl and first team All-Pro cornerback signed a five-year, $75 million deal with Washington.

In an ESPN.com piece published on Tuesday from an interview in May, Norman offered his candid opinion on Eagles' quarterback Sam Bradford and his desire to compete against Philly this season.

"Have you ever once been one of the top 20 quarterbacks in the league?" Norman said of Bradford. "Not that I remember -- and you want more money? I can't wait to play him twice a year."

Norman is, of course, referring to reports in late-April when Bradford was unhappy with the Eagles' decision to trade up to draft quarterback Carson Wentz.

Norman is not afraid to go after anyone. Even the NFL commissioner isn't safe.

"He's so cold. There is no emotion or nothing. ... Horrible," Norman told ESPN.com of Roger Goodell. "He's straight horrible."

Norman, a 2012 fifth-round pick, is as confident as it gets. He was asked in the interview if he feels he is the best cornerback in the league.

"Nah, man. I'm the best cornerback on Earth."
