U-Haul, Bicycles Belonging To Wounded Warrior Project Stolen In Delaware County
TINICUM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- Tinicum Township Police are investigating a theft that victimized the Wounded Warrior Project. Officials say $37,000 worth of property was stolen from the group.
Police say that on August 12, a U-Haul truck was the target of a theft. They say that the truck contained three Trek road bicycles, three Trek hybrid bicycles three ICE recumbent bicycles and equipment.
The Wounded Warrior Project is a group geared toward aiding wounded service members of the United States military.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident. The say that stolen U-Haul is a 16-foot F450 with an Arizona license plate that reads AD21774.
