Police Identify Man Found Unconscious More Than A Month Ago

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police have identified a man found lying unconscious on the highway more than a month ago.

According to officials, a passerby had found the man at 62nd Street and Grays Avenue back on July 9.

He was transported to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center where he was placed on life support.

Police released a description of the man asking if anyone recognized him.

Authorities announced today that the man's family contacted investigators and have positively identified him more than a month after he was found.
