Police ID Suspects In Rash Of Robberies Against Asian-Owned Businesses

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police have been investigating a recent rash of robberies that have occurred at several Asian-owned businesses throughout the city with residences above them.

On Friday night, police offered an update on the investigation, including the naming of two suspects.

Philadelphia Police received a tip that was sent in to the ATF regarding a person allegedly responsible for the robberies. As a result of the tip, police identified Anthony Campbell, 33, of the 100 block of Dewey Street as a suspect.

They add that he was identified by numerous victims. Police also identified Norman Bowen, 29, as a suspect as well. Bowen is from the 5500 block of Pemberton Street.

According to officials, both men currently have eight warrants against them for 12 of the incidents that occurred.

Police added that they are considered to be armed and dangerous.
