Tim Tebow To Workout For MLB Teams, Per Report
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tim Tebow is going to try baseball now.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the former Denver Broncos, New York Jets, New England Patriots, and -- most recently as last summer -- Philadelphia Eagles quarterback will hold workouts for Major League Baseball teams in August.
Tebow, who turns 29 on Sunday, is a Heisman Trophy winner and two-time National Champion at the University of Florida in football.

However, during his time at Allen D. Nease High School in Ponte Vedra, Florida, Tebow was an All-State baseball player hitting .494 as a junior, according to Schefter.
"Obviously we support Tim in his pursuit of a baseball career, as we have in all his ventures," said Tebow's football agent, Jimmy Sexton via ESPN.com.

All 30 MLB teams will be invited to Tebow's workout.
