Delta Passengers Still Dealing With Aftermath Of Computer Shutdown

By Tim Jimenez

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Problems persist for Delta Air Lines today.

The company has canceled at least 300 flights and many more are delayed as they work to level out after yesterday's systemwide computer failure.

Starting bright and early, Delta customers, affected by the system shutdown, had to wait and wait some more in a long lines to get to the ticketing desk so they could rebook their flights.

Lisa, who's flight to Atlanta was canceled this morning, went up to the desk and was told she had to get on the phone with Delta's customer service.

"I was on hold for about 25 minutes. I've been rebooked for tomorrow, not on Delta, but United."

So her trip to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico is now backed up.

"I'm losing a day. I'm going to contact my travel agent to find out how I can get my money back for my lost day at the resort."

Delta trying to make good, offering a refund to those with cancelled or significantly delayed flights, with a $200 travel voucher to top it off.
