DNC Wraps Up Tonight With Hillary Clinton Officially Accepting Nomination

By Tim Jimenez

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Democratic National Convention wraps up tonight when Hillary Clinton accepts her party's historic nod.

Volunteers this morning were leaving behind red, white or blue cards on the seats for the delegates. They're for a card stunt tonight, but what the cards will spell out or create? Time will tell as its part of the night's events.

Hillary Clinton formally accepts the nomination for President tonight, the first woman to do so in American history.

This is her fifth speech at a DNC. The first, 20 years ago as First Lady

Since then she has spoken as a candidate for US Senate, a sitting Senator and eight years ago, a presidential candidate who came up short following a heated primary campaign against Barrack Obama.

But tonight is her night and before Clinton gives a speech of a lifetime, her daughter Chelsea will make the introduction.
