PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Phillies right-handed pitcher Vincent Velasquez is drawing interest from the Texas Rangers, according to Jon Morosi of the MLB Network.

Velasquez, 24, is 8-2 with a 3.34 ERA and 103 strikeouts to 34 walks this season, his first full major league season. Velasquez was acquired by the Phillies in the Ken Giles trade with the Houston Astros this offseason.
