PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Phillies are preparing for a potential trade with the Miami Marlins involving pitcher Jeremy Hellickson.

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Phillies are scouting the Marlins’ Gulf Coast league affiliate team in hopes of dealing Hellickson for one of the Marlins’ young prospects.

Hellickson, 29, is 7-7 with a 3.84 ERA this season coming off an outstanding eight-inning outing against the Marlins in Philadelphia. Coincidentally, Hellickson is slated to start Monday night for the Phillies in Miami against the Marlins.
