Man Shot Multiple Times Inside West Philly Donut Shop

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A man was shot multiple times inside a donut shop in West Philadelphia and now police are looking for the suspect.

Police say the 20-year-old victim was inside a donut shop on the 4000 block of Lancaster Avenue Sunday morning when the unknown male suspect approached the front door of the shop and fired several shots.

Surveillance video captured the incident and shows the suspect fleeing in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to Presbyterian Hospital and treated for three gunshot wounds in the groin area.

Police are still looking for the suspect who they describe as a black male, between 45 and 50 years old, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. Surveillance footage shows him wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and armed with a semiautomatic handgun.
