MEDIA, Pa. (AP) — A car fire inside a parking garage has closed the county courthouse and government buildings in an eastern Pennsylvania county.

Delaware County Council Chairman Mario Civera says the car fire was reported about 8:20 a.m. Tuesday.

When crews couldn’t put out the fire with extinguishers, sprinklers in the garage went off and firefighters had to be called.

The courthouse and government center were closed because smoke from the fire got into the buildings.

Nobody was hurt.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the car to burn.
