Tom Brady: 'Will Not Proceed With Legal Process' In Deflategate
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tom Brady announced that he will not "proceed with the legal process" in regards to Deflategate, officially ending the 18-month saga.
Brady appealed his four-game suspension which was denied on Wednesday. The punishment was issued by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for Brady's alleged participation taking air out of footballs before the 2015 AFC Championship Game.
Brady's next option was to take matters to the Supreme Court, which the Patriots QB has decided against.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports that Brady could have admitted guilt to try to reduce his suspension.
However, reports indicate that the NFL Players Association might not be done fighting this, just yet.
