PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – What better way to celebrate National Mojito Day than with a discount on the classic drink.
Cuba Libre in Old City and Copabanana on South Street are offering $5 Mojitos.
A mojito is a classic cocktail that was made popular by Ernest Hemingway in Cuba. It's made with hand-pressed sugar cane, fresh lime juice, mint, White Rum and a splash of soda. Ingredients may vary.
Cuba Libre is kicking off their special offering with a Boozy Lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. until close.
Copabanana's promotion lasts from 4 to 10 p.m.
Whatever restaurant and time you choose to celebrate the occasion know that it's always 5 o'clock somewhere.
