PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — It’s an exciting weekend in Philadelphia for those celebrating the fourth of July, but even more so for Ben Simmons and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot who can now call the City of Brotherly Love home.

Simmons and Luwawu-Cabarrot, officially signed with the Philadelphia 76ers who selected them as the first and 24th picks overall in the 2016 NBA draft back on June 23.

Both players posted about joining the team on social media. And it looks like Luwawu-Cabarrot was out exploring the city a little and already getting acquainted with Wawa.

Both players will join the Sixers Summer League team and are expected to participate in the Utah Jazz Summer League, as well as the Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

There will likely be more city exploring for them when they return.
