Philly Police Offer $20,000 Reward For Info On Homicide Suspect

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help in locating a homicide suspect.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of 20-year-old Kyleaf Teagle, known as "Leaf."

Teagle is wanted in connection to a homicide investigation following the death of 21-year-old Salim Abdul-Latif.

Authorities say Abdul-Latif was found with a gunshot wound to the head sitting in the driver's side of a parked car on June 16 in Olney on the 100 block of Widener Street.

According to police, the officers were responding to a radio call that afternoon around 2 p.m. for a report of a "person with a gun" on the 5100 block of Arbor Street when they found Abdul-Latif inside of the Pontiac Grand Prix. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A warrant for Teagle's arrest was issued last week. Police say he is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is being asked to call the Homicide Fugitive Squad at 215-686-3068.
