Police: Drunk Driver Strikes Several Parked Cars In Port Richmond

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Neighbors in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia woke up Sunday to find their cars damaged by an alleged drunk driver.

It happened shortly before midnight Saturday at Venango and Edgemont Streets.

Police say the driver was intoxicated when they lost control of their vehicle and struck several parked cars.

Neighbors who witnessed the incident say they were surprised by what they saw.

"They smacked into every car coming down the block onto the next block and almost hit one or two more," said neighbor Anthony Powell.

Police were able to track down and arrest the driver.

There was no immediate word on any charges.
