Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly, and others with weakened immune systems. It can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
The recall was the result of a sample tested by the company which revealed that the finished products may potentially be contaminated with the bacteria.
So far, there have been no reported illnesses attributed to the recalled items.READ MORE: Taste With Tori: Take Your Taste Buds On Trip To Europe While Visiting Paloma's In Phoenixville
