Bensalem High School Posted For Sale On Craigslist As Prank

BUCKS COUNTY (CBS) -- The senior prank is a rite of passage for twelfth graders throughout the country with each graduating class trying to out-due the last.

Bensalem High School seniors may have done just that since their school ended up on Craigslist last week.

According to the post, the school is in "mid condition," and the price is a steal at just $2016.

"The whole package" includes a gym, cafeteria, library, cockroaches, "abestos" and "often celebrity guest appearances from Anderson Cooper!"

Anyone interested in buying the school is directed to call a 215 number and extension -- coincidentally, the same extension listed for contacting the school principal, William Ferrara on the district's website.

School officials say they have been getting a lot of calls about the post but confirm it as a prank.

No disciplinary actions have been taken against students because administrators say they do not know who listed the school in the first place.

Bensalem High School's class of 2016 graduated on Friday.
