MONTGOMERY COUNTY (CBS) — It was a beautiful day to spend outside with friends and family on Saturday, and many took full advantage in Delaware County at the annual Wayne Music Festival.
Christopher Todd is president of the Wayne business association and says while the music is an attraction, it’s a chance for local shops to showcase their goods.
“Community really gets involved in it and we have a lot of community vendors and participants that get involved in it as well,” Todd said.
Many families enjoyed shopping, eating and dancing at the festival.
“My wife and the three kids decided to come outside, listen to some music, get out of the AC a little bit, although it’s hot out here,” one dad told KYW Newsradio.
Amy traveled with her daughter Carina from Princeton, New Jersey for the festival.
“Got some water ice, listen to good music,” she said.
