4th Graders Enjoy 'Pizza With Police Day'
POWELTON VILLAGE (CBS) -- Pass the pizza!
Students at Samuel Powel Elementary school got a special treat Wednesday as part of 'Pizza with the Police Day'.
During the delicious celebration Captain Altovise Love-Craighead and officers from the 16th district shared a slice or two with two 4th grade classes.
The officers worked alongside the teachers of the two classes in addressing violence in their community, and how that may have impacted the children.
