PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — One of the city’s most popular outdoor attractions is offering free admission for an entire week.
Philadelphians who visit Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens on South Street between June 5 and June 10 won’t have to spend the usual $10 for regular priced tickets.
Instead, all they’ll need to bring is proof of their Philly address which will get them access to the outdoor Labyrinth, as well as the “Dear Julia” exhibit currently on display in the indoor gallery.
PMG is running the first-ever “Philly Free Week” as a way to say “thank-you” to its loyal neighbors and welcome new-comers to the area. Those who are interested in the free admission should bring either their driver’s license, a Philadelphia school ID, or piece of mail to verify they live in the city.
Starting next week, visitors will also have the option to reserve tickets ahead of time online.
The event kicks off at noon next Sunday with live music and a photo booth!
