Franklin Flea, Memorial Day, Philadelphia tourism, Reading Terminal Market, Mark Velve Shoppers Gather Outside Reading Terminal Market For Franklin Flea – CBS Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — People who skipped the trip to the shore this Memorial Day weekend and decided to stay in the city had no shortage of things to do. One of the most popular stops Saturday afternoon was outside Reading Terminal Market, which teamed up with Franklin Flea for the first of two times this summer.

Filbert Street was shut down between 11th and 12th streets, and underneath the overhang outside Reading Terminal Market were a variety of vendors, live music and food. Mark Velve runs Franklin Flea, and says the location seems to be a hit.
