Artistic director Angel Corella gives an overview of the event.

“It’s a perfect way to close our season, with four very different ballets from each other and also from everything that we have done so far throughout the season. They very serene and very calm and very sort of, almost like a spiritual way to finish the season.”

Angel explained why he ended the season with this program.

“It has a lot of classical component in it, although they are neo-classical, but there is a lot of classical positions and lot of classical techniques. So I think it’s a perfect way to finish saying, although we’ve done all this really energetic and really crazy and very exciting things, we always come back to the basics.”
