Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival Brings Out Crowds Despite The Rain

by Hadas Kuznits

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Thousands came out to the annual Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival on Saturday, where it took over the streets.

"It's an annual event that celebrates the best shopping, dining, and family fun that Rittenhouse Row and Philadelphia has to offer," said Corie Moskow, executive director of Rittenhouse Row.

Moscow says the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival showcases all the shops in the area. New this year is a new stage and additional food trucks, not to mention all the restaurants:

"There's food everywhere! There's really good things to eat and I hope people will start either at Broad or at 19th and work their way up or down, because there's food everywhere, it's delicious," she said, adding that the rain didn't bother them one bit. "Totally rain or shine, we're ready for you!"

Moskow says about 50,000 people were expected to attend the festival.
