Authorities: Woman Attacked From Behind At NJ Park

BERLIN, NJ (CBS) – Police are investigating after a woman reported she was assaulted while running at a New Jersey park Thursday morning.

Authorities say the alleged assault happened in Berlin Park located between the White Horse Pike, New Freedom Road and Park Drive.

A woman in her 20s was running when she was assaulted from behind by a white male, authorities say.

The female fled from her attacker and locked herself in her vehicle until help arrived.

The victim was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
