In the video, a man is talking to another man who appears to be a bouncer. According to Coda Nightclub, the apparent bouncer was not an employee of the club and the man who was punched, is a member of the club.

Coda Nightclub spokesperson Dan Gross issued the following statement:

“We are disgusted by the assault that took place early Friday morning outside our establishment. The man who punched our member does not work for CODA. That individual did not act, nor had permission to act, on behalf of our venue.
