Several Injured Following Accident In Hockessin

HOCKESSIN, De. (CBS) -- New Castle County Police were on the scene of a traffic accident that took place on Monday night. According to authorities, two cars were found with several people injured and two people trapped in one of the vehicles.

Three individuals were transported to Christiana Hospital. It is unknown, at this time, what condition they are in.

The accident occurred just after 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of McGovern Road and Lancaster Pike.

The roadway has been closed and will remain closed for an unknown amount of time.
