Terrell Owens On Sam Bradford: 'Sign Of Coward'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Everybody else is chiming in on the Sam Bradford situation, so why not fellow Eagles contract whiner T.O. himself?

TMZ caught up with Terrell Owens at The Grove in Los Angeles and unsurprisingly, Owens had a ton to say.

When simply asked who will win the starting QB job in Philadelphia, after calling Sam Bradford "Samford" Owens basically called the former No. 1 overall pick a coward.

"It's Sam Bradford's job to lose considering he's been there," Owens said via TMZ.com. "But you've got a number one pick in Carson Wentz, so obviously he's gonna be trying to stake his claim as a guy that can come in and lead the Eagles to what it needs to be. I'm sure it's gonna be some stiff competition come training camp.

"I think it was not a great move for Sam to want to request a trade being that they were getting a No. 1 pick," Owens said. "For me, that's kind of a sign of a coward, to be honest. But again, if you're not secure in your abilities -- it shouldn't matter who they're drafting or who's coming in. That should really kind of motivate you and really prepare you for the best season that you can ever have. I like competition. So with that request, it just seems like he's not really comfortable in his own skin and what he can do."

There you have it. T.O. on Sam Bradford.
