
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a high school freshman who was seriously injured after she was hit by a car as she crossed a southern New Jersey road over the weekend has died.
Washington Township police say 15-year-old Gavyn Connolly was pronounced dead at Cooper University Hospital in Camden just after 3 p.m. Monday.

The crash remains under investigation.
