Sam Bradford Will Not Ask For A Trade, Per Report
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- He didn't seem the demand-a-trade type guy, to be honest.
Two sources tell Yahoo Sports that Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford will not ask for a trade. According to the report, "Bradford is prepared to prove to the Eagles that he's a franchise quarterback."
The Eagles, of course, trading a slew of draft picks to the Cleveland Browns in order to move up from No. 8 to No. 2 presumably to draft a quarterback -- specifically Carson Wentz. In doing so, it likely spells the end of Bradford's future in Philadelphia.
With Bradford, Wentz, and Chase Daniel — who signed a three-year, $21 million ($12 million guaranteed) contract with the Eagles this offseason — the Eagles will have close to $60 million guaranteed tied into three quarterbacks heading into 2016.
Last week, Jason Cole of BleacherReport.com reported Bradford was "likely" to ask for a trade, citing a source.
