Chris Heck with the 76ers says it's all part of their Project 76 event, in which employees do 76 hours of community service annually.

"And what we do is, we try to give back to the community in Camden, specifically."

Bernadette Shanihan, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club says the kids who use this facility appreciate the work, even though they may never personally meet the volunteers.

"This is their second home, so for them to come into the club and see the love that people have for them, it's just really special."

So what work is being done?

"We're cleaning things up, we're painting things. We're trying to make this place just a little bit more pleasing."
