Gov. Kasich Makes Campaign Stop In Delco
MEDIA, PA. (CBS) - Governor John Kasich brought his campaign to Delaware County Thursday, holding a town-hall meeting at the Penn State Brandywine campus in Media.
Central in Governor Kasich's message -- working together to solve problems and communities or families solving problems rather than relying on government or politicians.
"Everybody's fighting with everybody else," he says, "it's like we're coming apart at the seams."
Responding to a question about why the country is so polarized, Kasich points to talk radio, talk TV and a click-bait society:
"It's also being fed by politicians who tell us how bad everything is and it just makes us more angry and more cynical."
Kasich says it will be an open convention in July and says he is the only candidate who can win in November:
"I've got my competitors trying to get me out, the democrats trying to get me out, and guess what, I ain't getting out, just so you all know."
