Apartment Complex Fire Destroys 8 Units, Displaces Residents In Camden County

PINE HILL, N.J. (CBS/AP) — At least one person has been hospitalized after fire ripped through an apartment complex in Camden County, New Jersey.

Authorities say the 3-alarm fire started around 9 p.m. Saturday at the Mansion Apartments in Pine Hill. But the cause of the blaze remained under investigation Sunday.

Eight apartments were destroyed by the fire and more than 20 people were displaced. One person suffered a minor injury in a fall and was being treated at a hospital, but further details were not disclosed.

Some residents were rescued by firefighters and other people at the complex.
